Who is Agency Eight?
Agency Eight (us) is a web design and web marketing agency based out of Batavia, IL. We are a company dedicated to developing alternatives for our existing and potential clients. We have searched high and low for the best eco-friendly, yet superb business-oriented hosting company.
We feel that Rackspace provides the best scenario for companies that need rock-solid hosting services and support. We are a solutions partner with Rackspace. (They provide the servers, not us.)
Aren't There Other "Green" Options?
Yes, there are! We welcome you to find the one that best suits your individual needs. Every little bit helps the environment!
However, we have worked with solar-powered web hosts, other green hosting services and feel that Greenspace servers (when combined with our 100 trees planted) are an excellent choice for businesses that care about the environment, as well as their server up-time, support and options.

What do we mean by saying we plant 100 trees? Do we grow them ourselves? Unfortunately, no.
We are currently donating to The Fruit Tree Planting Foundation, which appears to do a great job from our point of view. When we say 100, we mean that we donate $100 of the commission we receive from Rackspace on each sale, typically 2 months after a sign-up.
We reserve the right to change this promotion at any time, including donating to another tree planting organization if we choose.
When you sign up for hosting here, you will be given a contract directly with Rackspace, unless you order services from Agency Eight. We are strictly a middle-man that wants to help the environment in a way that we felt was financially responsible and environmentally effective.
